How Donations Are Spent
The Foundation Board funds four areas of student support, plus special requests tied to our mission.

Student Scholarships
We support 11th and 12th grade students so a lack of resources doesn’t limit what they can pursue academically. The board reviews applications each spring and awards scholarships based on need and merit.

Academic Enrichment
Clubs, field trips, guest speakers, and workshops that fall outside the district budget. Teachers and student groups can request funding directly from the board.

College & Career Support
AP testing preparation and career panels with local professionals, run in partnership with the SJHHS College & Career Center.

Faculty Development
Professional development for teachers who want to grow their skills and bring new approaches into the classroom, when the district budget can’t cover it.
